What a Strong Supplier Audit Should Prove
A showroom or polished presentation can be useful, but it does not prove production capacity or process control by itself. A meaningful factory audit connects claims with observable production: operating equipment, current work-in-progress, active QC steps and a believable relationship between claimed scale and the factory floor.
For the full evaluation framework, read How to Evaluate an LED Display Manufacturer.
Frequently Asked Questions
What information should I send before requesting an LED display quote?
At minimum, send the application, screen dimensions, viewing distance, site/environment, desired completion timing and any fixed resolution, brightness, transparency, installation or system requirements.
Should I ask every supplier for the same specification?
Use the same project brief and comparison boundary, but allow suppliers to explain alternative engineering approaches. Compare like-for-like scope rather than only the headline product name or price.
How can I verify whether a manufacturer has real production capability?
Look beyond the showroom. Ask to see operating production equipment, real current orders/work-in-progress, QC activity and production flow consistent with the scale being claimed.
Does a warranty prove the supplier has local service?
No. Warranty terms and service delivery are different questions. Verify who provides support, whether on-site service is actually available in your market, response commitments and replacement/spare-parts logistics.
