LED Dome Screen for Flying Theater
A flying theater combines an immersive dome visual field with motion seating, audio and optional sensory effects. JYVISIONS focuses on the LED dome display system and coordinates the interfaces required for compatible motion seating and experiential components when included in the project scope.
The page is application-led: it helps project owners understand the system combination, JYVISIONS supply boundary, venue inputs and practical configuration choices before detailed engineering begins.

How the System Comes Together
The media server, LED processing, motion controller, audio and effects controllers must share a coordinated playback plan. A film created together with the motion path normally produces a more natural result than adding motion data to a finished conventional video.
For larger or higher-resolution domes, the visual chain may require multiple outputs, geometry mapping and calibration. These details belong in the engineering stage after the venue, dome geometry and target content workflow are frozen.
For a broader comparison of CAVE, tunnel, dome and room-based immersive systems, read the immersive LED display guide.

What Is an LED Dome Screen for Flying Theater?
An LED dome screen for a flying theater is a custom direct-view LED dome used as the primary visual surface in a motion-based theater system.
The LED dome works together with motion seating, audio, show control and optional sensory effects, but these remain separate subsystems whose supply and integration responsibilities must be defined for each project.
What the Flying Theater System Includes
LED Dome Visual System
The dome provides the main immersive image surface. Diameter, curvature, pixel pitch, native pixel canvas and acoustic option are selected from the venue, seat positions, viewing field and content requirements.
Motion Seating
Partner motion systems can use 3DOF or 6DOF platforms depending on the desired movement range, venue scale, budget and structural conditions. Seat count and grouping are project-specific.

Audio and Sensory Effects
Audio, wind, vibration and other effects can be coordinated with the visual and motion timeline. Moisture-producing effects such as mist must be positioned so they do not expose the LED display to avoidable moisture.
Show Control and Synchronization
Video, motion, audio and effects should be designed as one timed experience. Current partner-system routes can use timecode and common control interfaces, but the final show-control architecture is project-specific and must be tested during integration.

What JYVISIONS Supplies
JYVISIONS directly engineers and manufactures the LED dome display system. Depending on the agreed scope, supply can include custom LED modules, LED controllers/processors, media-server options, dome structure coordination, screen commissioning and screen-related operator training.
Motion seating is supplied through partner resources. JYVISIONS can coordinate procurement, interfaces, integration and installation support according to the contract. Audio and central show-control responsibilities are normally coordinated with the client, AV team or system integrator.
For overseas projects, the default scope should be written around the LED display system plus clearly defined integration support rather than implying turnkey manufacture of every ride subsystem.

Venue and Dome Configuration
Start with the architecture: usable room dimensions, clear height, entrances, target seat count, show duration, target throughput, available power, ventilation, fire/egress constraints and equipment-room space.
Dome diameter and seat layout should be solved together from the required viewing field and the available venue envelope. There is no single universal diameter-to-seat formula that applies to every flying theater.
Typical flying-theater dome routes commonly use P2, P2.5, P3 or larger pitches, with finer options available when closer viewing or higher image density justifies them. If loudspeakers must sit behind the visual surface, an acoustically transparent perforated LED option can be evaluated.
For the LED structure and maintenance layer, use LED installation, structure and service-access planning.

Typical Project Scope Matrix
- LED dome display — JYVISIONS direct engineering, manufacture and screen commissioning.
- LED controller / processor — supplied with the display according to the project.
- Media server — JYVISIONS or project-defined, depending on content and show-control workflow.
- Dome supporting steel — project-defined; JYVISIONS can support drawings, with local qualified structural review.
- Motion seats — partner supply; JYVISIONS can coordinate procurement and integration by contract.
- Audio / central show control / local construction — client, AV team or integrator scope unless otherwise agreed.
