Naked-Eye 3D LED Display Solutions
Naked-eye 3D LED is not a special type of stereoscopic screen. The effect is created by matching real LED geometry with perspective-distorted content designed for a chosen viewing position.
The project therefore succeeds only when site geometry, screen shape, viewing zone, pixel map, brightness, corner continuity, content production and installation are coordinated from the beginning.
How the Naked-Eye 3D Effect Works
Most commercial naked-eye 3D billboards use forced perspective or anamorphic content. A virtual camera is placed at the intended hero viewpoint, and the content is rendered so the scene appears to extend behind or in front of the physical LED surface from that viewpoint.
Move far away from the planned viewing zone and the illusion becomes progressively distorted. This is normal and should be considered during site planning rather than treated as a hardware defect.

Choose the Sweet Spot From Real Audience Flow
The hero viewpoint should be chosen from actual pedestrian or vehicle movement, not only from the most convenient point for a rendering.
JYVISIONS needs the expected viewer location, distance, sightline and screen elevation so the hardware geometry can be handed to the content team with a realistic primary viewing zone.

Flat, Corner and Curved Screens Can All Support 3D Content
A 90-degree corner is common because it gives content creators two connected visual planes, but naked-eye 3D is not limited to one standard corner layout.
Flat surfaces, engineered corners and curved geometries can all be used when the content is built around the actual physical surface. JYVISIONS pre-engineers the cabinet geometry; it does not rely on field-adjustable cabinet angles to create the final form.
Pixel Map and Canvas Must Match the Built Screen
Content production should start from the approved physical dimensions, cabinet layout and pixel map. The content studio needs the real total canvas resolution, face-by-face geometry, corner or curvature information and the intended hero viewpoint.
Epic’s nDisplay documentation uses the same principle for LED environments: the digital geometry and screen resolutions must represent the physical LED panels, and viewport layout is driven by the actual display configuration.
Content Tools: Unreal Engine Is Useful, but Not Mandatory
Unreal Engine is widely used when real-time 3D workflows are useful, but Cinema 4D, Blender, Houdini, After Effects and other 3D/compositing tools can also produce anamorphic billboard content.
The important requirement is not the software brand. It is that the virtual camera, physical geometry, content canvas and final exported pixel layout agree.
Brightness, Color and Corner Continuity Protect the Illusion
The 3D effect becomes less convincing when the two faces of a corner do not match in brightness or color, when the seam is visually broken, or when the screen is difficult to read in the real ambient light.
Outdoor 3D projects therefore still require normal outdoor engineering: brightness strategy, day/night dimming, weather protection, structural accuracy, service access and commissioning.
JYVISIONS Hardware-to-Content Handoff
JYVISIONS provides the content team with the approved physical dimensions, screen geometry, cabinet layout, pixel map/resolution and the agreed primary viewing position. The content studio then creates and tests the forced-perspective artwork for that canvas.
This division of responsibility avoids a common failure: producing a beautiful 3D animation before the real screen geometry and hero viewpoint are frozen.

Installation and Commissioning
Corner alignment, cabinet flatness, module continuity, screen mapping and color/brightness calibration should be checked before final 3D content approval.
Where the project is highly geometry-sensitive, a test pattern or preview content should be used to validate the pixel map and hero viewpoint before the full creative campaign is delivered.
What to Send JYVISIONS
Send site photos or drawings, screen dimensions, proposed geometry, installation height, main viewer position, approximate viewing distance, audience movement, daylight conditions and any content concept already available.

What JYVISIONS Actually Hands to the 3D Content Team
JYVISIONS typically owns the LED hardware and geometry interface rather than the complete creative-modeling process. Once the screen design is frozen, the team can provide approved dimensions, face/corner or curved geometry, pixel-map resolution and the agreed best viewing position to the content producer.
The content studio can then build the forced-perspective scene in Unreal Engine, Cinema 4D, Blender, Houdini, After Effects or another suitable workflow. The critical requirement is not the software brand; it is that the virtual camera and content canvas match the real built screen.
Match the Hardware Geometry to the 3D Concept
Naked-eye 3D is primarily a geometry and content problem, but the correct hardware route depends on whether the surface uses flat faces/corners or a genuinely curved form.
Diamond Series outdoor LED display can support large conventional outdoor installations and 90°/corner configurations where the 3D effect is created across defined planar faces.
AP Series outdoor LED display can also support large flat/corner forced-perspective installations with broader format and pitch choices.
outdoor flexible LED display is the better hardware route for cylinders, round surfaces and smaller-radius continuous curves where bendable modules are required.
