Transparent LED Displays for Exhibitions, Events & Brand Activations
Transparent LED displays let event designers add digital content without turning the display into a solid visual wall.
For exhibition booths, trade shows, concerts, product launches and brand activations, the screen can become part of a layered space where digital content, lighting, products, performers and the environment remain visible together.
JYVISIONS supports temporary and creative event installations using LUCID transparent LED systems, transparent LED film and INV holographic transparent LED, with the display architecture selected around the event format, installation method, viewing conditions and creative concept.

Why Use Transparent LED for Exhibitions and Live Events?
A conventional LED wall creates a strong digital surface, but it also separates the audience from whatever sits behind it. A transparent LED display creates another option.
Digital graphics can occupy the foreground while exhibition products, booth architecture, performers, stage lighting or the surrounding venue remain part of the experience. This is most useful when the physical scene behind the screen has real value.
- Open sightlines — visitors can continue to see products, people or booth structures behind the display.
- Layered visual effects — digital content can interact with physical products, performers, lighting and scenery instead of replacing them.
- Creative geometry — transparent LED can support flat, curved or custom display concepts when the selected product architecture and structure are designed for the geometry.
- Temporary deployment — rental-oriented transparent LED can support projects where installation, dismantling, transport and reuse matter.
- Lighting integration — the open display structure can allow stage and architectural lighting behind the screen to remain visually relevant.
For outdoor or very large temporary structures, an open transparent display architecture can present less solid surface to wind than an opaque display wall. Project-specific structural and wind-load engineering is still required.
Where Transparent LED Works in Event Production
Trade Shows and Exhibition Booths
A transparent LED trade show display can place moving digital content in front of products or booth interiors without completely hiding them. This is useful when visitors should see both the digital message and the real product or space behind it.
For temporary exhibition projects, the display decision should consider installation speed, transport, repeated assembly, service access and booth structure—not only pixel pitch.

Concerts and Live Stages
A transparent LED stage screen can combine video with performers, lighting and scenery behind the display.
JYVISIONS has supplied transparent LED systems for concert and live-event installations ranging from creative stage elements to very large display areas. Depending on the project, transparent LED installations can reach thousands of square metres.
For large stage applications, transparency is not only a visual effect. It can change how lighting, performers and physical stage design interact with the video layer.

Product Launches and Brand Activations
For a product launch or transparent LED brand activation, the display can work as a digital foreground while the physical product remains visible behind it. Motion graphics, product outlines, typography and floating-style visual effects can be layered into the real presentation space.
Art Exhibitions and Creative Installations
Transparent LED film and holographic transparent LED can also be integrated into glass, acrylic and custom display structures for exhibitions and artistic installations. These projects often prioritize visual lightness, unusual geometry and the relationship between digital imagery and the physical environment.
Which Transparent LED Route Fits an Event Project?
LUCID for Rental and Large Event Structures
For projects that require fast installation, dismantling and repeated deployment, a rental-oriented LUCID configuration can be the more practical route. JYVISIONS has supplied LUCID event configurations in the P3.9–7.8 range.
For panel-based event structures, review the LUCID transparent LED screen and confirm the required rental configuration against the actual structure, viewing distance and event environment.

FILM for Integrated Transparent Display Elements
Transparent LED film can be considered when the event concept calls for a lightweight display integrated with suitable glass, acrylic or another transparent surface. FILM can also be prepared as part of an integrated display element rather than being treated only as a permanent storefront installation.
For direct integration with a suitable transparent surface, review the self-adhesive transparent LED film platform and confirm the final structure before production.
INV for Holographic-Style Event Concepts
INV is relevant when the creative direction emphasizes visual lightness, floating graphics and holographic-style presentation. It can be used for exhibitions, artistic installations and event concepts where the display structure should remain visually unobtrusive.
For premium floating-style event concepts, review the INV holographic transparent LED screen and evaluate the required pitch, mounting method and geometry for the project.
What Changes in a Temporary or Touring Installation?
A transparent LED event display should not be selected as if it were a permanent architectural installation. Temporary projects introduce different practical questions: installation and dismantling speed, repeated handling, transport protection, hanging or ground support, cable routing, service access and whether the system will travel between venues.
LUCID rental configurations are generally the more natural starting point when fast repeated assembly is a major requirement. FILM and INV may be more appropriate when the transparent display is integrated into a designed glass, acrylic or custom scenic element.
For the factory-to-site workflow, use the transparent LED installation and commissioning guide when planning structure, power, signal and site access.
For repeated deployment and spare planning, use the transparent LED maintenance, repair and reuse guide before the event system is finalized.
Content and Lighting for Transparent Event Displays
Transparent LED content works differently from content designed for an opaque video wall. Dense full-screen imagery can visually reduce the transparent effect, while darker backgrounds and isolated bright subjects can allow the physical scene behind the display to remain more visible.
For concerts and live events, content should be planned together with lighting and stage design. The goal is not simply to fill every pixel, but to decide when the digital layer should dominate and when performers, products, scenery or lighting behind the display should remain part of the composition.
For practical guidance on black backgrounds, isolated objects, motion and content density, see how to design content for transparent LED displays.
When Conventional Rental LED May Be the Better Choice
Transparent LED is not automatically the best display for every event. If there is no need to see performers, products, scenery or lighting behind the screen, a conventional rental LED wall may provide a simpler route to a dense, fully opaque digital background.
The right decision should start with the event experience and structure—not with transparency as a feature by itself.
What Should You Send for an Exhibition or Event Project?
For an initial recommendation, send the information already available. The project does not need to be fully engineered before the first discussion.
- event type: exhibition, trade show, concert, product launch, brand activation, art installation or other
- venue and indoor/outdoor environment
- available booth or stage drawings and dimensions
- target display size and geometry
- typical and maximum viewing distance
- whether performers, products, scenery or lighting must remain visible behind the display
- installation method: hanging, ground-supported, integrated into a booth, glass/acrylic unit or custom scenic structure
- event duration and whether the system will be reused or toured
- content and control requirements if already defined
- project schedule and required completion date
